My Switch To
Several months ago, I purged and threw out all of my conventional makeup for a cleanse and fresh start — and I've been LOVING IT ever since!
For me, so much of getting ready and presenting myself to the world is mental. If I’m wearing something that looks acceptable on the outside to others but I mentally don’t feel good about it, I just can’t do it. I end up not having a good time and having bad energy in whatever I’m doing. That’s how I started to feel about wearing conventional makeup — it looked fine, I just felt yucky. I want to feel AND look good — and all natural makeup helps me achieve just that. After all, isn’t the whole makeup industry about boosting self confidence and loving the skin that you’re in?
I hated feeling like I was piling on all of these ingredients containing God knows what. Even if I liked the way I looked wearing these products, I just had kind of a gross feeling with them sitting on top of my skin. Maybe I’m alone with this, but before, I couldn’t WAIT to get home and take all my makeup off. Now, even when I’m wearing a full face of makeup, it feels light, healthy and I have no problem wearing it for extended periods of time.
